The Cook County Democratic Party will slate candidates for the 2026 March primary election this July. The Party endorses in all offices that run countywide – statewide and countywide constitutional offices, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District, and countywide judicial offices. The Party will also endorse for Board of Review during slating.
The Party will hold Pre-Slating on April 16 and 17. Candidates interested in running should sign up for an appointment. Pre-Slating is an opportunity for candidates to introduce themselves and present their credentials to committeepersons ahead of slating.
