Biography:

Cathy Adduci has an extensive resume blending elected public service, civic engagement, and a distinguished career at Unisys Corporation, a fortune 500 company.

Cathy, a long-time resident of the Village of River Forest, is currently the Village President and was re-elected for her third term on April 6, 2021. Cathy served as trustee from 2009 to 2013 and clerk from 2007 to 2009. Cathy was appointed Second Vice President in 2019 and Board Director in 2015 of the Illinois Municipal League. She is currently in the rotation to become the President of Illinois Municipal League in 2023. She chairs the Credential and Conference Committee and serves on the executive and legislative committee. Cathy also serves on the legislative committee and is ex office of the executive committee of the West Central Municipal Conference and served as their President in 2017.

Cathy is a retired vice president and senior executive for Unisys Corporation, an international technology firm, where she worked for 33 years. Her senior executive expertise includes marketing and sales management where she led a business unit with nearly $800M in revenue, general management, and operations with over 1000 employees reporting into her business unit, finance, and human professional development. She traveled throughout the world wherever Unisys did business. She is now President and founder of CMA Associates, Inc., a company helping non-profit organizations formulate their information technology and core strategies.

Cathy also serves on the boards of professional, community, and civic groups, most notably the Belmont Bank and Trust Company, the Erikson Institute, a graduate school focusing on early childhood development and Fenwick High School in Oak Park. A graduate of Northern Illinois University, Cathy is on the advisory board of that institution’s College of Business, and from 2001 to 2004 served on the University’s Board of Trustees.

Cathy also holds an MBA in Finance from Loyola University of Chicago. Cathy has contributed to many local charitable organizations including the River Forest Kiwanis Club and Rotary International. She received the Outstanding Citizens Award from Amity for her community engagement. Her daughter, Jenna Ronan, is a recent graduate of the University of Illinois Chicago Law School formerly known as John Marshall Law School.
