Biography:
Patrick Hanley is a civic leader, small business owner, and community organizer in Winnetka, Illinois.
Hanley and his wife, Jessica Hanley, own Piglet in Bed, an eCommerce bedding brand. Hanley is an environmentalist and chairs the Village of Winnetka Environmental & Forestry Commission.
Hanley is a civic and political leader. He is President of the New Trier Democrats, the grassroots Democratic organization of New Trier Township. In 2024, he co-founded Operation Swing State, which mobilized 10,000 volunteers to knock a quarter million doors in Michigan and Wisconsin.
Prior to Piglet in Bed, Hanley served in the Chicago office of McKinsey & Company, where he advised public sector executives, including state governors. Earlier in his career, Hanley consulted for The Asia Group, counseling business leaders across Asia-Pacific. Hanley holds both M.B.A. & M.P.P. degrees from the University of Chicago. He earned his B.A. in International Affairs from the George Washington University.
Hanley lives in Winnetka with his wife, two small boys, and pup.
