Clare Joyce Quish
Judge Clare Joyce Quish was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court as a Circuit Judge to the Circuit Court of Cook County on June 28, 2016. She is currently assigned to the First Municipal Division, hearing small claims cases involving breach of contract, collections, and attorney fee petitions. Judge Quish was previously assigned to the Traffic Division in the Richard J. Daley Center, hearing misdemeanors and minor traffic tickets.
Prior to becoming a judge, Judge Quish was a partner at the law firm of Schuyler, Roche & Crisham where she had an appellate and litigation practice, representing people, professionals, businesses and insurers. She was previously an associate at Crisham & Kubes, Ltd., a judicial law clerk to Justice Mary Jane Theis on the Illinois Appellate Court, and Adjunct Professor of Appellate Advocacy at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Judge Quish earned her law degree at Loyola University Chicago School of Law,cum laude, and her Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University. She has been found qualified or recommended to be a judge by all 12 of the evaluating bar associations.
